Snæfellsstofa, visitor center for Vatnajokull National Park at Skriduklaustur has been awarded a BREEAM Final Certificate, with a Good rating.
Thereby, Snæfellsstofa is the first new construction in Iceland to receive both Design Stage- and Final Certificate by the BREEAM standard.
