Glerártorg

Shopping center. Built in the year 2000.  Expanded from 10.847 m² to 20.663 m² in 2008.

The largest shopping mall in north part of Iceland, Akureyri.  The building houses various services with both small stores and larger department-type stores.   A covered wooden and glass shield surrounds the building makes his mark to the mall and gives the passerby a shield from the weather.
